CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police responded to a shooting early Thursday in Over-the-Rhine.

It happened around 3 a.m. on the 1200 block of Walnut Street, police said. Officers responded to find 27-year-old Ellie Richardson, they said had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Authorities say a van almost struck Richardson, who is a bar tender at Lachey's Bar in Over-the-Rhine, when she was leaving around 3 a.m. Richardson and the driver got into a verbal argument before she was shot.

Bar owner Nick Lachey is asking for people to donate to help Richardson and her family.

Police are looking for a black man in his 20s with gold-rimmed glasses and a light beard. They are also looking for the van in the picture associated with this story, having originally stated its owner and occupants at the time of the incident were wanted for questioning.
