Article content
Montrealers have strong opinions about how we do — or don’t — get around the city.
That was obvious your reaction to an article headlined Countdown to 2022: Turning the corner on Montreal roadwork, published in print and online Oct. 14. Dozens of you commented on the article, written by reporter Andy Riga, and two initiatives by Concordia University professors that are part of a collaboration we are calling the #MTLroadwork project.
We’re inviting you to have your say in a Facebook Live session Wednesday, Oct. 25, at noon.
What do you think we’ve learned from the current spate of road construction? What has gone right or wrong with the projects? How can we do better when they start working on the Metropolitan autoroute in 2022? Join experts Andy Riga and Michelle Nokken, associate professor in the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering in a panel discussion moderated by Gazette editor in chief Lucinda Chodan. You can watch the live feed on the Montreal Gazette’s Facebook page.
Want to submit a question in advance? Send it to us with #MTLroadwork in the subject line at online@montrealgazette.com.
