The Kiddie Bike Parade celebrating the Fourth of July will be held on Saturday, July 3, in Jamestown. Due to road construction, the parade will start at the parking lot on First Street East, across from Schuberts Carpet One.

Those participating are asked to gather at 9:30 a.m. and are encouraged to wear their best red, white and blue costume and have a decorated bike, wagon or trike. This is a leisurely parade. All riders must wear helmets; no motorized bikes are allowed.

The parade will start at 10 a.m. and proceed down Second Avenue to McElroy Park for drive-by root beer floats.

The event is presented by the Jamestown Downtown Association with assistance from the Jamestown Sertoma Club, Walmart and Dairy Queen.
