By Farai D Hove| Four (4) weeks after MDC leader Nelson Chamisa was mocked by Zimbabweans for his spaghetti road idea, Zambia has adopted the ambitious concept. The neighbouring country’s Daily Mail paper reports on the development in a screaming headline titled, “Lusaka born again”.

The paper’s Steven Mvula reports saying Lusaka is poised for a milestone transformation into a city of international standards following the launch of a US$289 million roads construction project.

The project, which was launched by President Edgar Lungu and his Indian counterpart Ram Kovind yesterday, is aimed at decongesting Lusaka by building roads and fly-over bridges by Afcons International, an Indian construction company.
