Aunt Fannie’s CEO and Founder Mat Franken Selected to Speak at GMA Leadership Forum 2018

PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aunt Fannie’s, nurturing healthy homes, protecting the biome we live in, supporting our immunity and strengthening our families with natural, healthy household cleaning products and pest solutions, today announced that CEO and Founder Mat Franken will speak on a panel at the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) Leadership Forum 2018 held August 16-17 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

This invitation-only event brings together North American and global top leaders in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry to take on the big challenges facing the industry – today and tomorrow – and find solutions for manufacturers, retailers and consumers.

Franken is one of only three early-stage founders speaking in the GMA Executive Leadership Tracks of the conference, in a panel titled " A Clear Perspective on Clean Labeling." The panel will take place August 17 at 2:30 p.m. MT and discuss clean labeling and product transparency, in addition to:

  • Nielsen and Label Insight research found that 39% of U.S. consumers say they would switch from the brands they currently buy to others that provide clearer, more accurate product information.
  • Previously thought to be reserved for small upstarts, transparency has become the calling card for fast-moving consumer goods manufacturers of all sizes trying to capture growth. And there’s a lot the industry can learn from companies that have built their brands on a platform of transparency.

The panel will be moderated by Susan Dunn, President of U.S. Practices and Commercial Strategy at Nielsen and also include Megan Reamer, Co-Founder and CEO of Jackson’s Honest Chips, and Patrick Moorhead, CMO of Label Insight.

Aunt Fannie’s cleaning and pest control product innovations enhance the health and natural balance of microbiomes by creating biodynamic, evolutionarily-adapted solutions from unique, whole, and food-based ingredients. The company’s formulations are modernized, microbiomic, and rated best-in-class as the healthiest and safest option for our homes, our bodies, our families and our pets.

About Aunt Fannie’s
Aunt Fannie’s is the pioneer in microbiomic, safe, non-toxic and effective cleaning and pest solutions for households, food service establishments and food manufacturers. Where other conventional and “natural” cleaning products over-clean and destroy healthy microbes our bodies and environments need, Aunt Fannie’s family of products promote a healthy balance with our bodies and indoor environments. Born out of a years-long journey to understand and resolve his family’s mysterious and life-threatening medical conditions, Mat Franken founded Aunt Fannie’s in 2013 with a mission to educate and enlighten us to what our ancestors understood. That a chemical-filled, hyper-sanitized home destroys the beneficial, human-friendly microorganisms our homes and families need for health and balance. Mat and his team have developed a family of microbiomic cleaning and pest solutions that received the highest rating by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), out-ranking competing cleaning brands, based on the safety of the ingredients used and comprehensive ingredient disclosure. Aunt Fannie’s can be found in more than 2,500 retailers nationwide, including Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, Safeway, Albertson’s, H-E-B Grocery Stores and Hy-Vee.
